Parish Cup Washout AGAIN
Once again the bad weather prevailed and caused the abandonment of the Parish Cup third round fixture against Warley. The fixture is now scheduled to be completed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the first week of July although the weather doesn't look promising. If no play is possible during the week another attempt will be made to play the fixture at the weekend.
If we manage to beat the weather and Warley we will play either Queensbury or Booth dependent on the outcome of their yet to be completed third round fixture.

New web site goes live.
Southowram Cricket Club's web site has been given an overhaul for the 2007 season.
The new web site is part of our desire to achieve Club Mark status and is just one way of communicating with our members along with regular news letters, email bulletins and, of course, the club notice board.
Although the web site is not completed yet the sections covering fixtures and results for the 2007 season have been uploaded. There is also a section for the weekly team selection. This week’s team selection can be found here.
The remainder of the site will be uploaded as it is completed and it is anticipated that the full site will be active by the end of May 2007.
